Nurturing Healing Love by Scarlett Lewis with Natasha Stoynoff
Scarlett Lewis lived every parent’s nightmare on December 14, 2012. On that day, her six-year-old son, Jesse, was shot and killed by a gunman, who took twenty-six lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. Both she and Jesse’s older brother, J.T., were completely devastated by their loss, but intensive therapy began the healing process. Scarlett took a healthy path when she decided to choose love instead of hating the man who’d killed her son. The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation is an organization which dedicates itself to educating people on how to love, leading our lives in a more positive direction.
