Children's Programs
Registration is required for all programs due to limited space. All programs are subject to cancellation due to lack of participation.
If school is cancelled due to inclement weather, programs will be
cancelled that day. Please call your branch library to confirm dates and times. Register by clicking on Calendar
or by calling the library.
Be sure to check the

page for special events or one time programs.
Programs for children 17 months - 5 years of age
Three sessions per year: -
Spring session begins in February with 7 weeks of programs -
Summer session begins in June with 4 weeks of programs -
Fall session begins in September with
8 weeks of programs
Tot-Time
Tot-Time is for children ages 17 months to 35 months. During Tot-Time you and your toddler will sing songs, learn finger plays, listen to stories and do crafts. Tot-Time is a great interaction, listening and art program for you and your child. Register by clicking on Calendar.

Preschool Storyhour Preschool Storyhour is for children ages 3 - 5 years not yet in kindergarten. During Storyhour your child will experience an hour of stories, songs, crafts, games and movies. Preschool Storyhour is designed to give your child a fun, independent learning experience. Register by clicking on Calendar.

Programs for School Age ChildrenBook Buddies
(kindergarten - 2nd grade) Book Buddies is a monthly story
time and craft program for children in grades K-2. It is held at
Charlestown and Sellersburg Libraries and will run from September -
April.

Charlestown Library Decorator's Club
Are you creative or crafty? Then we need you! Each month the
Charlestown Library Decorator Club helps create a new bulletin board
to hang in the library. This is an art program for 3rd - 5th graders
and will run from September - April.

PAWS to Read
This new program will be once a month for K-5th graders to practice
their reading in a safe, supportive environment with a specially
trained therapy dog. This program will run from September - May.
Four children can register for a 15 minute session each month.

Family Program
Homeschool Community Helpers Club
Would your homeschool family like to make a difference in our
community? Then join the Sellersburg Library’s Homeschool Community
Helpers Club. Each month they will complete a project to help
improve our neighborhoods. This is a family craft program for
Homeschoolers and will run from September - April.
