Reading Rain Garden for Water Quality

The Clark County Soil & Water Conservation District was awarded a $5,000 grant from Indiana American Water in order to heighten community awareness of water quality concerns in the Silver Creek watershed through educational opportunities.

As part of this grant, one of three Reading Rain Gardens for Water Quality was created at the Sellersburg Library. In addition to the rain garden, books on rain gardens and non-point source pollution were purchased and are available for check out from the library.

To read more about this project, visit the website Reading Rain Garden for Water Quality.
